This tile restoration Melbourne CBD project was one of our favourites!
Sheraton Hotel in Melbourne CBD contacted us to complete a very important tile cleaning project in their hallways. We began with grinding and polishing their marble tiles, and then finished the job by regrouting and caulking. This made a huge impact on the overall look and feel of their hotel.

Products we used:
- Aqua Mix sealer
- Mapei grout
- Mapei silicon
How we did it:
Firstly, we grinded the marble in two stages: the plane grinding stage and the fine grinding stage. This allowed us to remove the damaged outer surface of the marble. The plane grinding stage is where marble is removed to make a flat slate. The fine grinding stage is where we ensured that the marble was smooth and perfectly flat.
Next, we polished the marble tiles. This was also done in two stages: diamond polishing and oxide polishing. Diamond polishing was first, which quickly removed material from the marble to make the best possible planeness. Oxide polishing was next, and this involved chemicals which produced a fine and gentle abrasive.
All our hard work for Sheraton Hotel resulted in a beautiful scratch-free and flawless marble flooring. It looked amazing!
